Mulcahy Wool Merchants Limited is a second generation family owned business, in operation since 1948.
In 1985 it was set up as a company under the directorship of Barry and Jan, having previously been owned by Terry.
We have a highly skilled team with many years experience within the wool industry:
- Barry, owner and wool buyer
- Terence, wool classer and buyer
- Wayne, storeman
Working closely with our customers we offer a personal reliable service trading in all types of wool, throughout South Canterbury, Mid Canterbury and North Otago.
Our company buys large and small quantities at competitive prices, including main clips, shed clean ups, marketing on behalf, and online auctions.
We aim to provide farmers with informed options to receive the best return for their wool.
